Man Utd’s owner was seen attempting to sell a 4.6 billion dollar soccer club in Qatar

Man Utd is one of the most powerful soccer teams in the world. The Red Devils have a long soccer history.

However, over the last few years, everything at this club has been under par. Man Utd fans are tired of looking at how poorly the club is being run. ‘The Glazer family’ who owns Tampa Bay Buccaneers, also owns Man Utd.

The Glazers took over the Red Devils in 2005. The Glazer Family has received criticism throughout the years for withdrawing excessive dividends from the club. In return, the owners do not even invest a sufficient sum of money for the club to compete in the transfer market.

Over a month ago, the news broke out that the Glazer Family finally wanted to sell Man Utd and were looking for potential buyers.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ owner looking to sell Man Utd in Qatar?

Man Utd was linked to quite to few big names in the past. One of the most prominent names was Sir Jim Ratcliffe. The richest man in Britain had a strong connection to a potential purchase of the club. The UK billionaire is already well-established in the soccer community. His company INEOS group Limited currently owns OGC Nice, a soccer club based in France.

The Glazers stated that they would be willing to “explore strategic alternatives including new investment into the club, a sale, or other transactions” after consulting with prospective purchasers and investors in the Middle East a few weeks after listing the club for sale.

However, since then, there’s been no news on any advancement in discussions with any potential buyer. Apart from Sir Jim Ratcliffe, a few other well-known personalities and companies are also linked to potentially buying the club.

According to rumors, David Beckham was considering purchasing Man Utd. The English soccer legend was open to partnering with fellow investors and building a consortium that would take over Man Utd.

Daily Star once reported that Tech Giants Apple wanted to buy Man Utd. However, a senior Apple executive quickly denied those rumors.

Man Utd – Progress report

Man Utd has been on a slow but steady rise after appointing Erik Ten Hag. Ten Hag is renowned for being an extremely strict and disciplined soccer coach. The Dutch soccer manager had a style of play that his teams always played. He is now successfully implementing that style of play at Man Utd.

The fans are happy to see the Red Devils set up in a proper shape while attacking and defending. Overall, Man Utd fans are quite content with what they are seeing. The exit of soccer legend, Cristiano Ronaldo did not seem like a major event because Man Utd continued to perform well even after the legend left the club.

Even though the club is now doing well now, the fans still want the Glazers to forcefully sell the club. After years of ‘soccer incompetence’, every Man Utd fan now wants to see a change.
