You’d think we’ve found all the big boys on this planet already, but this Reticulated Python that was found will prove you wrong. In true Anaconda fashion it measures at a whopping 25 feet and 2 inches, and was adequately named Medusa.

It’s somehow owned by a haunted house in Kansas where its job is to stand perfectly still and scare the bajeezus out of visitors – which I suppose it does perfectly fine. Green Anaconda

Well, we lied earlier. The Reticulated Python isn’t the largest snake in the world, but Medusa was just the largest that was captured. The actual largest snake in the world would be the Green Anaconda, which can measure up to 30 feet. Some reports even put them over that length, but those haven’t been verified. But I suggest we leave this one in the wild instead of in a haunted house.

Bushmaster

This isn’t a big snake at all, but it is the biggest venomous snake out there. It’s only 12 feet long and its Latin name loosely translates to “the Silent Death”, so I guess that’s how you know you should probably stay away from this particular species of snake.

Black Mamba

For the sake of argument I think we can call the Black Mamba the most “nope” out of all the snakes. Not only can the venemous bite of this 14 feet snake kill you in 20 minutes, the rascals chase you around at a speed of about 12 miles per hour. Oh and they also hunt in trees, so keep your eyes pretty much everywhere.

Titanboa Cerrejonensis

The name is probably telling you that this thing is ancient, and you’re right. It’s no longer alive at this point in time, but the Titanboa was the largest snake to ever grace the face of the Earth. It was a whopping 42 feet and if that’s not scary enough, its weight could go up to 2500 pounds. Even the horror movies don’t do this thing justice.

Eastern Diamondback

It’s weird when the most lethal snake on the list isn’t the most venemous one, so move over Bushmaster, here comes the Eastern Diamondback! This bad boy has fangs so large it’ll sink that venom in nice and deep and can potentially kill three grown men with the intensity of its venom. Basically, despite this snake being physically the shortest on this list with only about 7 feet in length, one big will kill you unless you’re the size of four grown men.
