Hailey Bieber wants children ‘so bad’ but gets ‘scared’ about having a family in the public eye … as she talks mental health and THAT nepo baby T-shirt

Hailey Bieber opened up to the Sunday Times this week and got very candid about starting a family with her husband Justin Bieber.

The 26-year-old supermodel – who recently flaunted her flat abs in New York City – shared that she wants children ‘so bad,’ but that she gets ‘scared’ about raising kids in the public eye.

‘I literally cry about this all the time!’ confessed Hailey. ‘I want kids so bad but I get scared. It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends.

‘I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child. We can only do the best we can to raise them. As long as they feel loved and safe.’

The influencer also tackled a variety of other hot topics, discussing her mental health and that infamous ‘nepo baby’ T-shirt.

As a member of the prominent Baldwin acting family, Hailey spoke about being born into fame and embracing the ‘nepo baby’ label.

Referencing her father Stephen and Uncle Alec, the privileged stunner said that she is ‘very aware’ of her own nepotism and wanted to lean into it by wearing her T-shirt.

‘When you’re out and about and people are stopping your dad or uncle and asking for pictures, you start to understand why…that was me being, like, “I’m very aware of the situation … I’m going to wear it loud and proud because you are already labeling me as such and it’s true.”‘

The beauty didn’t shy away from discussing her mental health, saying that 2023 has already given her some of her ‘saddest, hardest moments.’

Last month, Hailey hinted at the social media uproar surrounding her and Selena Gomez when she admitted to ‘having a hard time’ and being emotionally ‘fragile.

‘I just felt like I was going through a lot of uncomfortable growth,’ she told the Sunday Times. ‘Whenever you’re transitioning from one time of your life to another, it’s really uncomfortable and it can be really sad …

‘[I was] just trying to connect with other people who might feel that way…[People say], ‘Oh, you think we feel bad for you?’ And I get it. It’s just sad sometimes that that would be how people feel about you wanting to express your emotions.’

The Rhode Skin founder went on to reference her mini stroke last year and not being ‘silenced.’

Hailey told the Sunday Times: ‘The day after I was hospitalized, it was on the internet. I wanted to talk about what happened in my own words because so many people were making assumptions.

‘If you let things like that silence you, you’re allowing people to dictate how you live your life. Sometimes I do just want to curl up and be a hermit, like, “If this is how people feel maybe I should just stay home.” But I’m really not that kind of person.’

On a lighter note, Bieber spoke about her private life in Beverly Hills with her pop star husband: ‘The Biebers love to host. We had a Super Bowl party this year. I really love to cook.

‘I like to do some sort of pasta and a protein — whether it’s salmon or chicken. There’s something really joyful about people consuming your food. I like to take care of people.’
