Wrexham have attracted a lot of attention since American actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney decided to take over the club back in 2021.

Their primary objective has been to return to the English Football League (EFL), but the Welsh side narrowly missed out on promotion in their first season at the club.

The first season of the series ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ instantly became popular, with the team attracting fans from all around the world.

This year, Phil Parkinson‘s men are considered favourites to clinch promotion if they manage to remain consistent until the end of the campaign.

Wrexham are currently top of the National League table, having defeated Oldham Athletic 5-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Should Wrexham win their other game in hand and come out victorious from the duel against Notts County, they could win the league on April 15 at Barnet with three games to go.

That would secure promotion and it would be the first time they will feature in the EFL League Two since 2007/08, when they finished bottom of the table and were relegated to the Conference National.
