JLo has taken on another business venture, this time in footwear.

Jennifer Lopez has teamed up with Revolve to release a new shoe collection. This line is to be the first of three separate releases, with most of the head-turning footwear costing less than $300.

JLo’s new shoe collection, ‘Jennifer Lopez x Revolve’, has 16 pieces ranging from $145 to $275.

The collection includes styles ranging from classic suede, satin and leather pumps, to platform heels, bedazzled boots, and strappy sandals. JLo fans can also choose shoes with feathers, crystals, animal print, and crocodile leather embossing.

The ‘Shotgun Wedding’ actress’ shoe line is available to purchase online exclusively at the designer retailer.

Revolve releases a statement

Raissa Gerona, Revolve chief brand officer, said the deal was advantageous because JLo has such a wide fan base.

“Jennifer Lopez is a pop culture icon and an inspiration to millions of people all over the world,” Gerona said in a press release, “so there was no question of doing an exclusive collaboration with her line, JLO Jennifer Lopez.”

Revolve has previously collaborated with celebrity designers Michael Costello, Peter Dundas, Amanda Uprichard, and Nicole Richie’s House of Harlow 1960.

Ever the entrepreneur

A long-time entrepreneur, JLo started her beauty business, JLo Beauty, with her first fragrance, Glow by JLo.

Since then she has been part of a number of fashion and beauty ventures, such as her own fashion label, a footwear collab with DSW, a skincare brand. She was also recently named global ambassador for Intimissimi, an Italian lingerie line.

Intimissimi announced Lopez as the ambassador for the fashion house in 2022, and released photos of the ‘Jenny From the Block’ singer as the face of the spring 2023 collection, along with photos from a shoot with photographer Chris Colls.

Intimissimi released a statement about the partnership, citing JLo as a strong influence on modern women.

“Today’s women are savvy and successful and role models,” the fashion brand wrote. “They inspire us to work hard and follow our dreams.”

“Lopez is the ultimate ambassador for Intimissimi as she brings a strong and modern [look] to the brand and communicates their core values.”
