According to the Mail, parents Phil and Claire were involved in choosing the new family home as the starlet looks to continue his development at Manchester City.

It is understood he is happy to stick to working under Pep Guardiola rather than seeking a loan move away from the club.

Even seeing Jadon Sancho, two months his junior, leave Manchester City’s academy for Borussia Dortmund and earning a first senior England call-up has not convinced him to leave.

Foden grew up in Edgeley, a modest Stockport suburb, but is now moving to the more affluent area of Bramhall, near the independent school he attended thanks to the club.

The teenager still lives at home with his family and does not drive yet and does not drink.

And he still goes fishing with his dad and does not feel moving out would help at this stage.

In response, Foden said: “I am happy about that but Iniesta, come on, he is on a different planet. So for them to call me that is massive. It means a lot.”

Guardiola added: “Andres is a big, big word. I am not going to say he can become Andres Iniesta because it puts a lot of pressure on him.”

The club are in no rush to hand the youngster a new contract just yet but a new deal could be in the pipeline.

Foden’s parents are happy with director of football Txiki Begiristain’s handling of their highly-rated son who currently earns around £3,000-a-week.
