Adorn your home and garden with Blue and Pink flowers this spring

With the arrival of spring, houses and gardens are decorated with flowers, and there are some flowers that bloom for both of us with their colors and beauty. I like the harmony of blue and pink the most among the colors, today I have determined a few species that bloom in blue and pink tones for you.

Hemerocallis

Hemerocallis comes from two Greek words meaning ”beauty” and ”day,” referring to the fact that each beautiful flower lasts only a day. Each flower stem has at least 12 flower buds, so the plant stays in bloom for several weeks, despite the flower only lasting a day. Daylilies are basically sun lovers. They bloom admirably in six hours of sun and will make do with less, but the more sun they get, the better.

Hibiscus

Hibiscus tree is an annual or perennial herbaceous plant with trumpet-shaped flowers. This tropical tree grows in full sun or partial shade and does best in moist, well-drained soil. With over 200 species and many more cultivars in the genus, hibiscus flowers can reach nearly 10 inches in diameter at maturity and come in a wide range of colors from white to red, pink, yellow, and orange.

Orchid

The orchid family has over 880 different types (called genera) and over 22,000 species. These numbers are growing every year making orchids the largest and most diverse of the flowering plant families. Most orchids are tropical plants which live as epiphytes or “air plants” hanging on to trees for support. Some orchids are lithophytes or “rock plants” growing on or among rocks. The remaining orchids are terrestrials which grow in the loamy detritus of the jungle floor.

Do you know the meanings of orchids.

BlueThe rarest of the orchids and the most difficult to achieve, therefore said to embody rarity, is the simply beautiful blue orchid. Because these flowers are hard to find, you can often see blue orchids that contain dye to maintain their striking color. The orchid’s deep blue tone symbolizes strength, authority and depth. Yet the calmer tones of blue, representing the sea, symbolize peace and tranquility.

Yellow

Yellow is a popular color in spring and brings with it the symbolism of new life; the very word “spring” means a step or step forward. Giving a yellow orchid can be a sign of a new beginning in someone’s life, friendship or joy.GreenThe green orchid symbolizes nature, harmony and rejuvenation. It is believed that green orchids bring good health and happiness into the home.

PurpleFor many years purple has been closely associated with power or royalty and is a popular color among the royal family. This is why you may hear that the purple orchid is called the “true queen” of flowers. This orchid is a perfect gift if you want to show someone that you admire them, as it symbolizes respect and appreciation.
