Evans took the title from his fellow Marvel co-star Paul Rudd who was declared as the winner of the same title for the year 2021. People’s magazine features the face of the Sexiest Man Alive every year and the list contains prominent names such as Michael B. Jordan, John Legend, and the list goes on with many popular and sexy men.

Dwayne Johnson is Approved Sexy by Chris Evans

On Colbert’s show when Chris Evans was announced as the Sexiest Man Alive for 2022, the Gifted star was congratulated by the former title holder Dwayne Johnson. The Rock was the title holder for the same position in 2016. Despite the winning celebration of Evans, the WWE star declared himself as the Sexiest Man Alive for perpetuity. The Black Adam star said jokingly that he never gave up the title of Sexiest Man Alive.

“I never give the title up. I’m Sexiest Man Alive in perpetuity, which means for life… Let me ask you a question, brother. Am I alive? I’m still alive. Am I still sexy? You bet your sexy mouth I am.”
